Account Settings

Change your name, email, and password, and set the interface language.

The Settings page is where you review and update your account details. You reach it from the user menu in the top corner of the interface, under Settings.

Your name

Your profile shows your First name and Last name. Click change name, update the fields, and click save. If you haven't set a name yet, Respeak simply shows no name set — adding one is optional and only affects how you're shown in the interface.

Change your email

Your email is the address you use to sign in, so changing it takes one extra step to keep your account secure.

1

Open the email field

Click change email next to your current address.

2

Enter the new address

Type your new address in Email, then re-enter it in Confirm email so we can be sure there's no typo, and click save.

3

Confirm the change

We send a confirmation email to your new address. Open it and follow the link to confirm.

⚠

You must confirm the change via the link in that email. Until you do, you won't be able to keep logging in with the new address — so don't close the tab without checking your inbox.

Change your password

1

Open the password fields

Click Change password.

2

Enter your old and new password

Type Your old password, then your Your new password, and repeat it in Your new password (repeat) so the two match.

3

Save

Click save. Your new password applies the next time you sign in.

💡

If you've forgotten your current password, you don't need this page — use the Forgot password flow on the sign-in screen instead.

Language

The Language section lets you choose the language of the editing interface — the menus, labels, and buttons you see while building and managing dialogs. Pick a language and it applies right away.

â„č

This setting changes only your editing interface. A live dialog continues to use the language configured per dialog in its Dialog Settings — so switching your interface language never changes what your participants see.
